- New York/Toronto: 9:30 AM–4:00 PM Eastern (NYSE, NASDAQ)
- London: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM GMT/BST (LSE)
- Frankfurt/Paris: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM CET/CEST
- Tokyo: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM JST (lunch break 11:30–12:30)
- Hong Kong: 9:30 AM–4:00 PM HKT
- Shanghai/Shenzhen: 9:30 AM–3:00 PM CST (lunch 11:30–1:00 PM)
Why overlap matters
US–EU overlap is roughly London afternoon / New York morning (UTC 13:00–16:00 in standard time). News flow and volatility often spike in overlap. Use the Convert to check if a proposed Beijing time still falls inside US cash hours.
