Southeast Asia Time Zones
ASEAN hubs — Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines — offsets and no DST.
Most of Southeast Asia sits between UTC+7 and UTC+9 with **little or no daylight saving**. Offsets still differ: Bangkok (UTC+7) is an hour behind Singapore (UTC+8), which aligns with Beijing for SG, KL, and Manila.
Main IANA zones
- Asia/Bangkok — Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos (UTC+7)
- Asia/Singapore — Singapore, Malaysia (UTC+8)
- Asia/Manila — Philippines (UTC+8)
- Asia/Jakarta — Western Indonesia (UTC+7; see Indonesia's Three Time Zones)
- Asia/Yangon — Myanmar (UTC+6:30 half-hour zone)
Business and travel
- ASEAN supply-chain calls often bridge UTC+7 and UTC+8
- 10 AM Bangkok = 11 AM Singapore = 11 AM Beijing
- Singapore vs London: 7–8 hours ahead depending on UK DST
- No DST simplifies long-term rosters — still verify with Convert
